if nothing else use the crascks..... no law against cracking a own payed version ! (as long u keep it for your self)

I understand that, but still you can call Microsoft and ask why this happens. They might change something or can provide you with a 'better or working' key (without the notification).

installing minecraft works i've heard.

Then maybe do like 7th.

He's got some legit keys and if they don't work he just contacts Microsoft and or they fix it or they give him a new key.

For my information: you never applied any 'crack' before you entered the valid key ? If so you might want to 'uninstall the crack' so Windows genuine acts like it is supposed to do.
