Does my old Commodore 64 (including a floppy disk drive) also fits in between all above mentioned consoles ??
Hence I got lots of games with it including racing-, boxing etc games. So that should be ok

now i can watch Blu-ray DVDs!

i have never seen the idea playing games in my sofa on a lousy TV quality, when i have a nice PC with high res, god sound, good chair, place to have my beer within 10cm form my mouse, and able to check my mails while chatting on ICQ and same time have KOF on TS.
nope I never get a concole as long i can get the games i like on PC
Times change. Both MS and Logitech has developed keyboards for sofa use and new tvs had plenty of res. to play games. When I upgrade to Blu Ray they will have to come up with something speciel for me not to buy the PS3.
On top of Blu Ray profile 2.0 you get a harddisk, a gaming platform and I heard you can use it as a mediaplayer as well.

I still have a gamegear laying around... Think the screen is broken though, but as a collector you dont mind
You only have the consoles standing there catching dust anyway.

oh, im really only getting it for Blu-ray and to play games with my friend from the Marines who is a PS3 maniac....yes the old and new cost the same, the old ones are highly in demand, the 60 gig is going for more then the 80.....i wanted one thats backwards compatible with PS2 games, has 4 usb ports, and has a card reader in the front. Good luck getting that on a new one, those have 2 usb ports, no card reader, and no compatibility.....i also like to collect consoles, i have a retro duo (plays NES and SNES games) a Sega Genesis, a Dreamcast, an Xbox 360, and now a Playstation 3.....next on my list is a Nintendo 64 as well has a Sega Game Gear...so that my friends is why i bought a PS3

Ahh you found a place that got the right version, nice.
I'm not too much into consoles, never was for some reason. But right now the old and the new version cost the same? Is there also a difference in size then?
Trying to understad why not everyone wants an old version like you got now.
more toys!

well this past weekend i bought a Playstation 3, for those of you i havent told
reason being is the newest ones they are making now and in the future will be very cheapened versions, I.E. 2 USB ports instead of 4, no card reader, and no PS2 emulation. Just FYI
