Re: Firefox 57
got Opera installed for testing purpose when i make www stuff, bu i never got the good feeling for it
I have loved FF for some years and got some nice add-ons that i really use 100%, and the most important "closed" with the update !
What i hate most is actually that they just force the update and the changes without letting you choose ... stay on old platform or update
give me the choice.... dont be so Apple a'like

Re: Firefox 57
I didn't try the new firefox yet. I liked the old one but it was eating a little too much memory for my liking. Chrome I never really liked for the same reason. So a couple of months ago i switched to Opera (yes, it still exists) and I really like it. I know its based off of Chrome, but somehow it feels better. It has all the addons i need (because its based off of chrome i guess) and doesn't eat too much memory and is pretty fast.
Will give the new FF a try.

Re: Firefox 57
Now I remember. You previously had the same problems with some update from Firefox.
And I can imagine since this is a (I think) rebuild of FF..... they didn't care about old add-ons.
GL in trying to fix it or finding the solution(s).

Firefox 57
My Firefox got updated today to version 57.
Mooooooooooo, yay: it's fast
Looks are a bit more 'old school' (my opinion), not my preferred look but all in all I'm very pleased with the update.
