Engel, I would say just try it.Patch is easily installed and un installed.Maybe we will try it to another couple of times.I'm curious to the experience of other players.Any way, it's a nice gadget from the "mother of all cheaters" again and I wouldn't be surprised if there where a few tricks up his sleeves.There will be an "Anti 2.07 patch" soon enough, I think, if it's not already out there <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> I'm open for any anti cheat proggie, but I still trust people more.<br>

For the last few weeks, I'm convinced the cheating has been around a lot less than before, and I haven't even seen real over the top cheating (mmm except for one I must say ...).That is on the servers we play.I'm also convinced that our little discussion on the subject already helped more then any anti cheat program there is right now.I have seen players change their play style from the exhibitionistic, compulsive cheatingstyle to a passionate, gameloving way of playing the game, and I respect that very much.A man that can change is a man indeed. I'm also convinced that they found out how great this game is without cheating and how much they missed over the last months, because that is the bottom line here, at the end the cheater is the one who loses because of NOT being a part of the great experience we play through every single day.<br>

Sure their are still cheaters around and they will always be,but so will they with any patch you can think of.It's the attitude and the over the top cheating that ruins this game and I'm very happy to say that I don't see that any more with the players I now play this game each day.The patch may even turn out to be a challenge for cheaters to join and cheat any way, and I must say it makes me more paranoid again.Watching out for cheaters instead of playing the game and I don't wanna be on guard every time, just wanna play and have fun without wondering "would he have an Anti Anti Cheat Patch ?"<br>

So maybe it's time for a little trust between the people who play this game daily and get the philosophic concept of the "Fun4all site" already take off, even before it has started.It's just a bit crazy to need an anti cheat patch from Vertigo when being on a server with the great game loving people we see every day.Call me Don Quichot, but ....<br>

but i'm kinda curious as to what TNR is ??<br>
is that an anti cheat patch too and where to DL ??<br>

i think the problems lie in the winsock.dll V uses<br>
for his patches (just geussing though)<br>

I think that "anti-cheat" patch is not really a anti-cheat patch, but it may be some new virii or cheat from vertigo. When I installed it, my firewall showed some weird <unknown> (lookin like unkown program icon in windows) prog trying to go the internet, after I instelld the patch, the prog is still there. If I remove the prog, it comes back, so now I have to find a way to look it up from registry. And something else that I noticed, my comp keeps crashin much more than it does usually ;-D.<br>

And anti-cheat patch is rather un-usable, becouse there are much more better programs than vertigo (like TNR) that acts better way and is more stable. <br>

BUT I DON'T CHEAT, and I know that u guys don't either, but if we think this with clear mind.. it's Vertigos "anti-cheat" patch.. And vertigo is one real son-of-a-b***h. And he have nerve to call it 2.07 -> I just would like to know what Red Storm Entertainment is thinking about that.<br>
